Family Care Homes Wanted



The Elizabeth Fry Society is seeking to contract with caring individuals or couples to provide free home placements for adjudicated youth (13 – 19yrs).  Applicants must have the ability to provide a supportive, nurturing home and supervision.  We do request that the homes are alcohol and drug free.

Ongoing training and support from a youth support worker is provided.  A satisfactory police information check, drivers’ abstract and a home visit are also required.


Remuneration probation rate is $45.00 per night when empty and with a youth an additional $60.00 per night for a total of $105.00 per night.   After probation the empty rate increase to $60.00 per night for a total of $120.00 per night.  This is a non-taxable income.
