Lizzy’s Closet

A Hand UP not a hand out

This volunteer run program is offered to provide free, quality clothing to women in need. Lizzy’s Closet provides a space for women to access quality, gently used clothing and some hygiene items at no cost to assist with employment, education, and legal needs. Women will have an opportunity to look through and select  clothing and footwear from the donation room during times when Lizzy’s Closet is open. The Lizzy’s Closet is open two Thursday’s of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am. Women can drop in during Lizzy’s Closet hours.

Clothing is especially for women who are:

Appearing in Court

Looking for Work

Attending School

In an Emergency Situation

We are always seeking donations of new or gently used, quality clothing for women, as well as hygiene items. Donations of good condition, clean women’€™s clothing can be dropped off at the Elizabeth Fry office on Monday to Friday between 9am-11:45 and 1-3:45pm. If possible, please call and notify the office of the drop off ahead of time. We greatly appreciate all donations.
